Update Regarding March Closure
Dear New Song Studio Family,
As I am sure you are aware, New York City has closed public schools starting today through April 20, as well as implemented measures to slow the spread of coronavirus.
I am writing to share with you that New Song Studio will be closed this week, March 16 through March 23, during which all scheduled lessons are canceled.
You and your children’s health are of the utmost importance to us. As the situation around COVID-19 continues to escalate, we believe that it is in everyone’s best interests to suspend all onsite lessons as of today, Monday, March 16.
It is with ample caution and consideration that our administrative team made this decision. There are currently no known cases of COVID-19 involving our faculty, staff or students.
Online classes will be available starting on Monday, March 23, and our secretaries will be reaching out to you to assist with scheduling this week. We would like to see as little disruption to your music learning as possible, in the hope that music-making remains a constant in these uncertain times. We will be sending you tips on how to prepare and set up for an effective online lesson in the next few days.
Please feel free to contact us at: email@example.com for questions and concerns. An SMS number will soon be made available for you to stay in touch with us and receive updates from us via text messages. We will continue to send information and announcements through email and post them on our website.
*Please note that New Song Studio facilities will be closed, unavailable for practicing and other uses starting March 16.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Stay well and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Chris Lee, Education Director
